ESPN's J.W. Stewart to talk Mens Hoops on MaristRadio.net

ESPN News anchor and Marist alum J.W. Stewart will be appearing on MaristRadio.net’s “Sports Stop” with Jon White and Mike Muschiano on Thursday November 15 between 6-8pm ET on WMAR 1630AM. Stewart graduated from Marist in 1993 with a B.A. in Communication concentrating in television, radio, and film.

“Marist taught me how to become an on air personality through the classes and activities I was involved in,” said Stewart. “The education I got at Marist was an essential investment in being successful and getting into the field.”

Upon graduating from Marist, Stewart landed a job with the Poughkeepsie Journal covering sports in the area. Stewart soon moved on to work for Cablevision in Wappingers Falls, putting together sports highlights for Army football and other local teams before getting a start with ESPN in 2000.

MaristRadio.net offers a variety of programming including Men’s and Women’s basketball coverage and interviews with top sports personalities.

Listeners will be able to tune in to “Sports Stop” by logging on to MaristRadio.net and clicking the 1630 AM link on the top of the main page.
